Victorian Straw Hat Black - Etsy。This appears to be a Victorian style black straw topper with a hand sewn lining - shown in photos. There is some age-related light damage to the straw - also shown. The overall look of the item is very good though and constuction is solid for its age. This looks like it could have stepped off the pages of a Prairie movie or become a part of a mourning outfit. We are not experts in this era so we\'ve taken a lot of photos to allow you to see what you\'d get. There are feather and ribbon details - see closeups. Some of them are pulling a bit but overall they\'re mostly intact, as is the hat itself and the lining - which has been hand-sewn. There\'s a gauzy type of irregular \"lace\" around the front as fringe - see closeup. PLEASE NOTE the measurements in photos - we put the hat measuring tool inside but it\'s too small for the smallest setting as this is meant to be secured on top of the head, and not fit over it. There is a ribbon to secure it. The ribbon looks like it may be a newer addition - the fabric is different and appears newer than the rest of the piece. We\'ll ship this in a box with delicate packing to keep it secure.
