There is a gold thread and sequin band around the crown, and at the front there is a navy piece of crin creatively placed to house knotted thick cording that has been covered in shiny gold threads. This is simply stunning! Crin, also known as crinoline or horsehair, is a net-like material, easy to mold and is often used in the decoration of clothing, hats and accessories.
