If you don’t have one, use a piece of non-stretching string and a standard flat ruler.Position the tape: Place the tape around the back of your head and bring it to the front, resting it right in the middle of your forehead (about \\(1\\) inch, or \\(2.5cm), above your eyebrows) and just above your ears.Keep it level: Ensure the tape is level all the way around your head. Do not twist it.Check the tension: Hold the tape snug. Pull it exactly as tight as you want your hat to feel. Do not pull it too tight, or your hat will give you a headache; do not leave it too loose, or the hat will fall off.Record the number: Take note of your exact measurement in both inches and centimeters. If using string, pinch or cut where the ends meet, then measure the length on your ruler.Round up (if needed): If your measurement falls between two sizes, always round up to the next size for better comfort.
