1850s Victorian HAT STYLE ~ Purple Velvet Brim W/pink Satin 。This is is a spectacular piece of fashion history! This hat is made of fuchsia velvet that is creatively topstitched all over and consists of a conical crown surrounded by a wide brim. The top edge of the brim has a band of velvet that has no topstitching, for contrast. There is a narrow lilac colored grosgrain band around the crown, which ends in 2 bows at the front. The crown is lined with a shiny pink fabric. The crown is flexible, and the brim is semi-rigid. Outside dimensions are approximately 18” end to end. This is a collector\'s dream! Label: Designed by HARRYSON - NEW YORK + \"Registered Model B\" + Store label: NANCY\'S - Hollywood Please keep in mind that you are buying a vintage hat, not new nor perfect! This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, furs, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age. Mannequin not for sale.
