Vintage 1960s yellow hat - Gem。SALE! 1960 era Bubble style hat in lemon yellow pleated, thin bands. Marshall Field & Company Chicago sold this to a discerning buyer. The thin interconnected bands are a stiff cellophane. The highlight is a front decoration with a 2 1/2\" tubular root beer clear plastic tip and a gold tone plugged end. The bubble hat was in part to protect the high beehive hairstyles popular in the day Size: no size label--note this hat seemed large to us as it kept slipping down on our model, but it is measuring as a medium at 22\" circumference at the inner band; it is 4 1/2\" tall and 7\" across the crown.
