Wathne | Accessories | Vintage Wathne Puppies Belt With 。This rare set from Wathne features a sculptural, coiled serpent motif, a signature of the brand\'s high-end equestrian and field sports aesthetic. Known for their appointment-only boutique on West 57th St. in NYC, Wathne pieces from this era are highly collectible for their heavy-gauge gold electroplating and meticulous scale detailing. Almost Exact design as the David Webb buckler at a significant lower price. (Photo for comparison). The Buckle: * Excellent Vintage Condition. The gold electroplating is vibrant and intact with no thinning. The structural integrity is perfect; the bar is straight and the details are crisp. The Keeper: * Disclosed Structural Flaw: The companion keeper has sustained a centered \"M\" shaped bend on the interior bar. This has resulted in a stress fracture and plating loss on the underside, exposing the base metal. • Hidden from View: This damage is strictly restricted to the bottom/interior surface. When installed on a leather strap and worn, the flaw is 100% hidden from view. • Functional Note: The keeper is functional as-is for a standard strap. Do not attempt to manually straighten the bar, as the stress fracture requires professional micro-soldering if a repair is desired Quiet luxury, old money belt buckle, Boho Luxe, Ethereal, Stealth Wealth,Dark Academia, snake belt , snake buckle , y2k luxury ,
